Gerardo Smith

Mr. Smith joined EnerCorp in 2018 as Vice President of Business Development, Latin America.

Mr. Smith manages all business development functions for EnerCorp in our Latin America markets while also supporting executive sales functions in Houston, TX for North America operations. Gerardo has more than 30 years of international and domestic engineering, business development, and technical operations services experience.

After receiving his BA in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de México, México City, Gerardo started his career in operations managing several mid-sized oilfield companies in Mexico City and eventually took over operations for larger Latin America operations for Varco (Tuboscope). Since moving to the USA, Gerardo has held several Global and Latin America Executive Sales positions for companies like NOV, TETRA Technologies, and Queen’s Energy Group of Companies supporting engineering and sales efforts primarily focused on the completions and production segments of the oil and gas industry.
