In honor of Women’s History Month, we’re celebrating the inspirational women who have shaped our past and continue to inspire us today!
Among them are Damya Bow and Ella Kuhn, two remarkable apprentice welders at EnerCorp. Damya, a first-year apprentice, and Ella, in her third year, are part of a thriving apprenticeship program in Alberta.
This program involves rigorous training, including 1,560 hours of on-the-job training and eight weeks of classroom instruction per year. Upon completion, apprentices like Damya and Ella earn their “Journeyperson Certificate” and are recognized as skilled professionals in their field.
In the photo, you can see these talented women hard at work, expertly tacking and welding braces on a structural skid. Their dedication and skill not only contribute to the success of our projects but also inspire others to pursue careers in welding.
Join us in honoring the incredible contributions of women throughout history and celebrating the bright future ahead, led by trailblazers like Damya and Ella!
