Being a safety leader is unique. It’s one thing to go through the motions and do the “safety stuff,” but to lead others in safe work habits day in and day out is exceptional.
Each year EnerCorp selects one supervisor that has championed safety not only for themselves, but for the teams that they lead. The Safety Leader is one who puts their team first, goes out of their way to encourage participation in our safety program, engages their team members when they see a coaching moment, encourages their team members when they see them doing the right things, and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of everyone they work with. He or she is a person who inspires others to step up their game and to do the right things, even when no one is watching.
