Leader of the Year: Shelby Sporbeck

Two years in, and Shelby has already earned something that takes most HSE professionals much longer to build: genuine respect from the people she works with. She shows up early, holds everyone to the same safety standard without exception, and has a way of making people feel taken care of even when their question falls outside her job description. She’s been a key part of driving Canada to two consecutive injury-free years, recently took the initiative to implement Mindsmith for online training, and delivered results good enough to replace a third-party vendor entirely. She’s the kind of person the office gravitates toward when something needs to get done, and when something needs to get done right. Congratulations, Shelby.

CDN Employee of the Year: Stacy Poulin

If there’s a hard project on the table, Stacy is the person you want in the room. She carried Canada through both the GlobalShop and NetSuite implementations with the kind of work ethic and reliability that makes everyone around her better. She never says no. She never stops looking for ways to improve the process. And she does it all without fanfare, just consistent, excellent work that makes a real difference for the people who depend on her. Congratulations, Stacy.
