Five Years of Showing Up: Celebrating Johnny Mata
Five years ago, Johnny Mata joined the EnerCorp 1-Team in West Texas. Five years later, he’s still showing up the same way he always has — with his tools clean, his standards high, and his teammates better for having him around.
Johnny is an Operator III based in West Texas, and if you ask the people who work alongside him, they’ll tell you the same thing: he leads by example and he does it quietly. The kind of guy who mentors without making it feel like a lesson.
Outside of the job, Johnny keeps it simple — fishing when he can, and spending time with his grandson. The same patience and care he brings to the field.
