EnerCorp Charity Golf Tournament & Team Building a Success in Grande Prairie

By Dan Hayden

This year’s Charity Golf Tournament & Team Building event was held at Spruce Meadows Golf Club. With a total 70 employees and 10 Managers getting together for a day of golf, it was an excellent turn out and a great time was had by all.

Our vendors donated prizes from bigger ones such as two TV’s, two fire pits, a welder, an iPad and more. To ensure everyone walked away with a prize, we also included items such as shirts, hats, golf balls etc. for the door prizes. The larger prizes we selected were up for grabs through the purchase of raffle tickets. From the raffle alone, we were able to raise a total of $3600.00. We also had three cheques donated, brining our grand total to $4050.00 dollars!

The money raised will be donated to a local charity here in Grande Prairie, selected by our managers called Kev’s Kids. Kev’s Kids, is a charity that helps kids in need who “fall between the cracks” in and around Grande Prairie.

Once again, a huge shout-out to all managers and employees that helped make this day possible. It was a huge success, and everything went off without a hitch. Personally, I felt this was one of the best-planned events of all time, and I’m proud to say it’s because of all of you, our dedicated staff. I will keep everyone posted as we will be presenting the donation to Kev’s Kids soon.

UPdate

In early July the EnerCorp team enjoyed our annual Charity Golf Tournament, where staff and donors together raised $4,050 through a raffle for local Grand Prairie charity, Kev’s Kids.

EnerCorp was so thrilled with our team’s efforts, that we matched those funds for an amazing grand total of $8,100 for this worthy cause.

A sincere “Thank you!” to everyone who participated and helped support this important charity.
