ENTERTAINING CHILDREN IN THE HOSPITAL

EnerCorp in partnership with the Queen Elizabeth II Hospital Foundation donated $2500 and 30 teddy bears to the Pediatric Ward at the QEII Hospital in Grande Prairie.

Half of the donations were raised by EnerCorp staff at the 2015 annual Christmas Party in Grande Prairie and the other half was matched by company President and CEO, Justin Morin.

The Teddy Bears were handed out to children at the hospital over the Christmas Holidays during pre and post-surgery. The bears helped children cope with the stresses of surgery and also gave them something to bring home upon their release.

The cash donation was spent on an entertainment area that will be built over the first quarter of 2016 in the Pediatric Ward. The new entertainment area will provide children and their families the opportunity to watch movies, play video games or simply relax on the new furniture. We can’t wait to see the finished product! We will update everyone when the project is completed!

UPDATE: CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE
