We’ve got an innovative solution for every sand management challenge

The oil and gas industry evolves quickly. Impacted by global markets, geographic terrain, consumer sentiments, and investor attitudes, there is no shortage of change. That’s why it’s important for operators to work with partners that can support them with a number of different applications so they are not always scrambling to find a new solutions provider.

At EnerCorp, we’re a one-stop shop when it comes to sand management. As an innovative leader in the industry, we’re constantly developing new products and services to support our customers—no matter what their needs are. In this article, you’ll find just some of the ways we’re here to make your sand management plans a reality.

Searching for a 97%+ sand capture rate?

Effective sand management is a necessary part of flowback, early production, and steady state phases. Without a strong sand management solution, you may end up with sand in the production facility, causing damages and unnecessary expenses. That’s why we developed the Sahara family of sand management products, all offering a sand capture rate of 97%+.

  • Sahara Advanced Sand Cyclone: The original groundbreaking Sahara developed through years of research by our application engineers, this sand cyclone is customized for the specific requirements of each well. Range of flow rates for oil, water, and gas, varying wellhead pressures, various solids and sand particle sizes, and expected sand volumes change for each well, which is why we take into account these factors when customizing our equipment. And because we can remove virtually all sand particles from the production stream, we can bypass test separators and flow directly into the production facility.
  • High-Capacity Sahara Sand Cyclone: We understand how important it is for our customers to reduce the equipment footprint on site, especially on high-producing wells with longer laterals over 15,000 feet. That’s where the High-Capacity Sahara Sand Cyclone comes in, taking the place of two regular Sahara Advanced Sand Cyclones. It not only reduces the equipment footprint, but also reduces HSE exposure, maintenance touchpoints, and labor costs.
  • Sahara Facility Cyclone: Designed for operators with centralized production facilities that are connected to dozens of wells in the steady state phase, the Sahara Facility Cyclone minimizes the accumulation of sand at the production facility while lowering the equipment footprint since separate sand management solutions are no longer needed at each well.

Deciding between flexible rental or full service options?

EnerCorp has been a full-service provider of sand management technology for decades, with iron, personnel, and all the other equipment that comes standard with a full-service job. The majority of our customers want to offload flowback sand management operations to our expert team who takes care of every detail from start to finish.

However, we understand that some operators are already working with another flowback provider and have a good working relationship with them. While they may like the service of that provider, they may require specialized sand management equipment that the flowback provider doesn’t offer.

That’s where our Sahara Advanced Sand Cyclone rental program comes in. With our technology and your personnel, operators in the rental program can achieve their sand management goals with a crew they are familiar with.

Trying to figure out how to automate flowback?

If you’re looking for ways to automate flowback while enhancing sand management, eFlowback is a great solution for you: Combining industry-leading sand separation Sahara technology with automation technology, measurement systems, and cloud-based software, eFlowback creates the job site of the future.

eFlowback enables operators to minimize excess equipment, lower labor costs, reduce flowback expenses, minimize HSE exposure, lower emissions, and ensure cleaner production facilities.

Looking for custom fabricated equipment?

Sometimes, operators need custom fabricated sand management equipment. At our 35,000 ft2 fabrication facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta, we have the expertise to deliver whatever you need. With in-house engineering, quality control, and project management teams, we ensure high quality equipment fabrication and safety at every step.

Our fabrication shop highlights include:

  • Complete project packaging: From electrical and instrumentation (E&I) requirements to vessels, piping, valves, structural needs, paint, external buildings, and enclosures, we can create and deliver everything you need.
  • Equipment customization: Our in-house ASME and ABSA pressure vessel construction is capable of delivering sizes up to 14 feet in diameter and up to 80 feet in length, pressure ratings up to 10,000 psi, and pipe spools rated up to 10,000 psi in any diameter and configuration.
  • Full project oversight: Every project is on time and under budget, thanks to our in-house project management, engineering, and quality control teams.

Thinking about tried, tested, and true sand filtration technology?

In some operations, such as those with artificial lift jet pumps, operators choose to use a sand filter to eliminate sand carryover. Our patented sand filtration technology—the Scorpion series—offers a higher sand capture rate than other sand filters on the market, taking out up to 99% from the hydrocarbon stream.

The Scorpion series of sand filters have been tested on thousands of wells in the flowback and production phases with varying flow conditions, and have performed reliably every time. These sand filters reduce damage to the production facility, and can be used on unconventional wells, wells with high pressure, or wells with a high flow rate.
