With the deeply saddening events that have unfolded in Afghanistan as we have approached the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attack, we would like to take time to reflect on those lives lost, and the brave heroes that fought for our freedom. Yesterday, today, and tomorrow, we stand with and thank our military for their service. Let us never lose sight of the immense gratitude that we should have for our freedoms.
