EnerCorp offers custom engineered production equipment for sand management, fluid separation, and production processing.
Maximizing production. Minimizing spend. For most operators, those are the key objectives they are trying to achieve. The problem is, it’s far easier said than done. There is a prolific amount of oil and gas equipment on the market, available for rent or purchase, that promises to help operators achieve those goals. But, most of that equipment is one-size-fits-all, with little to no customization capabilities. As a result, operators aren’t able to maximize production because the equipment they are using isn’t specific to the requirements of their wellsite.

For operators that understand the value of using customized oil and gas machinery, having a vertically integrated production equipment fabricator as your partner is essential. At EnerCorp, we provide custom engineered production equipment for sand management, fluid separation, and production processing, ensuring operators are able to maximize production and minimize spend. With customized equipment that is built to the operator’s exact specifications, we provide exceptional performance and results.
The power of vertical integration
Unlike other production equipment fabricators that only build production equipment, at EnerCorp we have a massive advantage: We design, engineer, build, sell, and operate our own equipment. We see our equipment throughout its entire lifecycle, from the moment it’s first created to the time it’s retired.
As a result, we’re able to understand how our equipment functions in practice—not just in theory—and determine ways we can improve its performance for our clients. From each engagement, we come away with more knowledge we can apply to our design, engineering, and manufacturing process to ensure the equipment will operate perfectly in the field.
Having this level of insight into how our equipment works is a considerable advantage that other production equipment fabricators simply don’t have. They just build the equipment and don’t have details on its actual performance. As a result, they are not able to work on improving the design and engineering of their oil and gas machinery. At EnerCorp, we’re in a state of continuous improvement, always working on better ways to design, engineer, and build custom sand management, fluid separation, and production processing equipment for our clients.
EnerCorp’s custom engineered production equipment
While we’re known for our flowback equipment and its industry-leading results, EnerCorp is much more than a flowback company. At our 35,000 ft2 fabrication facility in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Canada, we design, build, and engineer a range of sand management, fluid separation, and production processing equipment, which includes:
- Sand separators: This industry-leading engineered technology is designed to remove over 99% of sand from a well stream in order to protect downstream equipment.
- Gas production units (GPU): This equipment is an enclosed package that combines a separator and line heater on one skid. It is primarily used to separate, process, meter, and treat the hydrocarbons before entering the sales line.
- Heater treater: This equipment is a separator that uses heat and other mechanical separation techniques to facilitate the separation of oil and water before sending the dry oil to storage or into a pipeline.
- Indirect line heater: This skidded unit is used to heat and maintain the temperature or a process stream. It is typically used to prevent hydrates in a fluid stream which can plug pipelines or instrumentation.
- Dehydration unit: This process equipment is used to remove water from natural gas in order to meet moisture requirements of pipelines and minimize corrosion.
Every piece of equipment can be customized based on numerous factors from the wellsite, including the flow rates for oil, water, and gas, wellhead pressures, solid and sand particle sizes, expected sand volumes, and much more.

It’s not enough to just talk about the custom production equipment we design, engineer, and build, it’s also important to show you how it works in action.
A supermajor IOC client of EnerCorp was having issues finding desanding technology that was able to adapt to various production ranges throughout the lifecycle of the well. They also wanted the equipment to maintain highly efficient sand capture in harsh cold weather conditions. In their search, they were not able to find any production equipment fabricators that could adhere to their highly specific requirements—until, of course, they came to EnerCorp.
After meeting with our engineering team, the Supermajor IOC decided to use the Sahara Advanced Sand Cyclone, customized for a winterized environment. We customized the equipment according to the client’s exact requirements, ensuring it could perform well in harsh cold weather conditions.
Not all engineered production equipment fabricators are the same
While there are several production equipment fabricators in the United States and Canada, not all of them offer customized equipment to your exact specifications. When you’re deciding on which custom fabricator to work with, consider these factors:
- Their design, engineering, and building process
- What factors they use to customize reproduction equipment
- Their fabrication area of expertise
- Whether they have the ability to operate their own equipment in the field
- Their experience in different geographies around the world
- If they conduct repairs and alterations to existing equipment
- If they have a temper bead weld procedure
- If they do anything else besides production equipment fabrication
These factors can help you determine what level of experience and expertise the production equipment fabricator has, and whether they’ll be able to meet your specific requirements.
