At EnerCorp, we often talk about the reasons why we work safe.
There are many, but one that resonates with all of our team members is that we work safe because we all have friends and family that are counting on us to come home when our work is done. This makes safety very personal.
Well, sometimes our family members really help make that message loud and clear. Our Director of HSEQ, Gareth Young, was recently packing for a work trip to West Texas when his daughter, Eva, picked up his hard hat and put it on. He turned around to capture this innocent face with a loving smile waiting to tell him goodbye before he left. This was a great reminder for Gareth, and for all of us, what is important in our lives and why we work safe!
